SafeVibe is a movement for everyone who wants to keep predators out of the bars and put an end to sexual assault. The more people who actively get involved (men, women, youth, everyone!), the closer we will be to making social change a reality.
SafeVibe launched for the Vancouver Winter Olympics 2010 and has been active ever since, with volunteers hitting the streets to get the message out and passing materials around Vancouver bars! You can see some of the action in our video below!
SafeVibe is a Community SolutionThere have been a number of excellent public education campaigns detailing the dangers of alcohol and drug facilitated sexual assault, but many of these provided only an individual solution. Protecting drinks is not enough: we need to protect each other as well. The solution is a community of people, of all genders and sexual orientations, who come together to own their collective power and make change a reality.
